For those Asheville, NC residents or visitors with a little less time to spend on the French Broad River, consider one of Hot Springs Rafting Company’s half day guided white water trips. Families, those new to rafting, and older folks will appreciate this ‘just right’ 3 hour trip from Barnard NC (the put-in) to Stackhouse (the take-out). There are plenty of class II and III rapids to get your adrenaline pumping, places to swim if you like, and a lot of beauty and grandeur, compliments of the French Broad River and the Pisgah National Forest.

• Total distance of the trip is 4 miles.
• Half day trips should be reserved at least a day (48 hrs) ahead if possible.
• Departure time for this trip is no later than 9 am.
• Please 15 minutes before your trip time. (8:45am)
• Minimum age for our whitewater is 8 years old.
• Cost of half day trip is $45 for adults and $40 for children under 12.
• No drugs or alcohol are permitted.
